Cat, Possum and Coon...oh my!

Good morning Opossum!! We have a family of racoons living in our attic currently. In order to try to catch them, we have a box trap to catch them alive set up in our back yard. Since it has been set up, we have caught Buddy our cat, a possum and then finally the mama coon. Daddy took me out to see the possum as soon as I woke up! Ewwww!
Mommy decided I hadn't seen enough animals for one day so she took me to the zoo! It was a really nice day and the Cheetahs just arrived at the zoo. So, we ventured out into the heat to take a peak!
This is a mommy monky and her baby...kind of hard to see.
Here are the zebras and ostriches.
OH MY!!!! The brand new Cheetahs! Too bad this is as close as we could see and they just laid down the whole time. I wanted to race them!
Mommy and I shared a cherry sno cone to cool us down.
I am always SOOOO tired when I leave the zoo.
After the zoo, mommy and I picked up Aunt Kari and Aunt Susan from Susan's work. They went to Carb Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and got to ride in the huge Limo SUV.
We stopped to eat on the way home and I had so much fun with my Aunts!!
We are so goofy!
Then, when we dropped off Aunt Susan at home we played with Austin for a while. We took a wagon ride down to Grammy's but she wasn't home yet.

What a great day!!

Cousin from Colorado

Grammy's first cousin came into town for Great Aunt Carol's wedding over Memorial Day weekend. The first night she was here, Grammy had us all over for some homemade lasagna, pie and fun!
Here is Grammy with cousin Laurie Ann. Laurie is Grandpa Joe's brother - Roger's daugther. She has lived her whole life in Colorado as Uncle Roger and Aunt Kathleen moved there before they had children because they had bad asthma in Indiana. We wish we could see Laurie Ann and the rest of her family more often! We had a great time with her!

Aunt Susan let me play with her phone.
Daddy fed me fruit snacks
Earlier in the day, Mommy and I went to the playground for a while. It was HOT outside!
I love raisins

Ewww...a worm!

Jody's Wedding in Chicago

We spent the weekend in Chicago for Mommy's friend, Jody's wedding. Jody and mommy worked together at New Century a few years ago and have remained friends ever since. First, the plan was for me to stay at Grammy's all weekend. Then, Grammy and I decided to go with mommy and daddy since their hotel had a pool and they thought it would be nice to get Grammy a weekend away. I am so glad we got to go. As soon as we checked into the hotel Daddy couldn't wait to get me into the pool so we hurried down to it. Then, Daddy had to get ready for the wedding so Grammy jumped in and took over the playtime fun!

I even had fun playing in my floatie in the hotel room. I kept putting my babies/stuffed animals in it with me and then we would all get out of it. I loved it!

Here are Mommy and Daddy before leaving for the reception.
The reception was at the Cuneo Museum which is where some movies, including "My Best Friend's Wedding" were filmed. Mommy wishes she would've taken some pictures of the grounds and mansion. However, the reception was in the tent following the cocktail hour that was out by the pool. Very beautiful!

The salad was very colorful!
Here is mommy with her friend Heather. She also worked with Heather at New Century and they also still keep in touch. My mommy and daddy Heather and her husband Jamie
Heather, Jody -the beautiful Bride and mommy (mommy had to take get this picture from Heather since her camera was on the wrong setting and it didn't turn out...that is the reason it is so small)

Jackie's Farm Animals

Mommy and I made a stop at Aunt Luann and Cousin Jackie's to see all of Jackie's farm animals. She has a horse named Cowboy, two goats and three pigs!!! She will show the pigs in 4-H this year. I was a little leary of all of the animals at first but I warmed up to them very quickly!
Saddle Up!

My New Favorite Thing!

I have discovered the garden hose and now I cannot get enough of it! It is just so much fun to play in water...especially when it comes from a long, snake-like thing that sprays it at you.

Happy 2nd Mother's Day

Today was terrific!! First, we went to church, took naps and celebrated mommy's second Mother's Day at Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark's. They had a whole bunch of us over for a cookout. We had steak, potatoes, macaroni and cheese, veggies and dip, green bean casserole, strawberry angel food cake and brownies!! Yum Yum!
Unfortunately, this it the only picture we got of mommy and I. We didn't even get one with Grammy Jo. :( This was the end of the day when mommy read me my favorite book - Goodnight Moon - before bed. Mommy loves to read to me!

This is Austin and I with Uncle Mark's sister Jennifer. We are BFFs! :)
Austin and I are good eaters!
We like to play by the fence!

Max's first birthday party

We got to celebrate Max's first birthday party with him on his actual birthday. It was at his Grandma and Grandpa Burkle's house in Carmel so it was really close to us. There were so many kids there and it was a lot of fun!
Max is sharing one of his favorite new toys with his cousin, Harrison.
