First day at the park this year...

We have had a string of nice weather so we are trying to take advantage of it and get outside as much as possible! Mommy, Vivi and I decided to head to our favorite park to get some fresh air first. We stopped at Handel's Ice Cream (our absolute favorite) to pick up a cone to enjoy once we got there. I was so excited about the ice cream the whole way there until we got to the playground....then I just took a few licks and was off! I have gotten so big since last Fall and can do so many more things now. Mommy couldn't believe it!! :( Plus, she wasn't 9 months pregnant this time so that helped! ;)

I still love the swings and we spent a lot of time on them!

Silly Girls!

Mommy and I were being silly and decided to take some funny pictures of us in action! I make mommy and daddy laugh SOOOOO many times each day!! (from mommy - LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!)

Our supported sitter is 5 months old!!

We can hardly believe our newest baby girl is 5 months old already. Do you like her Jerry Curl/Mohawk?? Cracks us up!

In the last few days she has really started to gain interest in the things around her. She is so strong and moves her whole body to see what is going on. She hasn't rolled over much since she did it for the first time but is so close to rolling from her back to her front. She does wiggle around a lot. She loves her car and to hold things in her hands....especially your fingers. She is still such a happy, sweet baby. She has only slept through the night once and it was last Wednesday night from 7:30PM to 4:30AM. She usually goes down for the night around 7:30 now and wakes up around 1-2AM for a feeding almost always. Then, up again around 6 but goes back to sleep for a couple hours before she is up for the day. It doesn't take much to get her to smile and laugh. All you have to do is smile at her and she gives you one right back. She seems to be ticklish on her feet and her chest already. She is really doing well with her rice cereal. We will start other baby foods around 6 months so that will also be fun! Her next appointment isn't until the end of April for her 6-month check up. Hope we don't have to go to the pediatrician before then for any illnesses. (Big knocks on wood and proably shouldn't type this...) So far, she hasn't had a single ear infection and has been in great health. Audrey has only had two ear infections ever so we hope Vivi follows suit. (okay, still knocking on wood and hope that doesn't come back to bite me!) We switched her to size 3 diapers already and they are much better. Big sis is in size 4's so there is not much difference in the diaper department. Vivi wears almost all hand-me-down's from Audrey at this point. She is growing so fast and I have even had her in some 9-12 month stuff from Audrey...I know things shrink but she is a big beautiful baby! Mostly she is wearing 6-9 month things though and they are fitting well. She will be sitting on her own soon. But, until then she is our little supported sitter!

Pappaw Pappaw!

Pappaw stopped by to see us today!! Yippee, Yay, Yay! We love it when Pappaw stops by. :)

He was laughing at Vivi's hair....since she has a mohawk now. ;)

Mommy got her hair cuck

I was so interested in mommy's new hair "cuck". She really looked different to me so I kept saying it and staring at her. ;)

Coloring Easter Eggs...a little early

Grammy stopped by and helped mommy and I color Easter eggs a little early. I have never colored eggs before and I just couldn't wait another month and a half. I kept making them laugh when mommy would give me a new color and a new egg but I grabbed one that was already colored and threw it in a different color. We had some really pretty rainbow eggs.

Lunch with the girls

Mommy, Vivi and I met Aunt Kari and Emily for lunch at Arni's. It was so delicious. I finished off Kari's salad...mostly the cheese and dressing. We all had pizza before they had to hurry back to work. Can't wait til next time!

Mirrors and high heels

Vivi really likes to look at herself in the mirror. They say she won't know it is herself until around 7 or 8 months. Mommy decided to take a picture of she and Vivi looking at the mirror. Vivi actually looked at the camera instead though.

Mommy had another meeting for work so Daddy stayed home with us in the morning. When she got home I snagged her high heels. I love them and she doesn't dress up very often any more so I don't see them a lot! I am such a lady!

Meeting Baby June

we drove down to Bloomington for a few hours to meet baby June who was born to our friend Emily, Justin and big brother Max! She is so tiny compared to Vivi who is just over 4 months older. Although June weighed 8lbs 11oz when she was born 8 days early compared to Vivi weighing 7lbs also born 8 days early! Sooo cute!

I am giving my sister kisses thanks to "treat" bribes from mommy! :)

J-bird Has Gone Shopping

I just love being a J-bird after my bath and before bed. I even managed to get some grocery shopping done one night!

A super special sitter...Grandma Cindy

Mommy had to go into the office for a meeting so Grandma Cindy came down to watch Vivi and I. We hadn't seen her since the middle of January so we sure had some catching up to do!! She got to feed Vivi rice cereal!

Vivian Kay Rolled Over TODAY!

What a super surprise! We were doing some tummy time when Miss Vivi decided to roll over for the first time. Mommy and I were so proud of her and we got to see it happen - LIVE!! Yippee!

This is my first time really saying "CHEESE" for a picture! Yay!
" Hmmmm.....I have idea mommy!" This is something I say all day every day lately with my finger on my chin or mouth. ;)

We also recorded a video of me saying "Look! I can roll over too, mommy! You want to roll too?". However, it would not load properly for some reason. Mommy will try again later.

Grammy's Puppysitting

We just had to go to Grammy's and see the 10 month old Yorkie puppy she is watching. Her name is Gabby and she weighs about 2 pounds... just my size. I enjoyed carrying her around and picking her up. Glad she didn't mind!

Vivi enjoyed spending some time with Grammy! Grammy made us some homemade noodles and broth as well as green beans and a sugar cream pie! YUMMY! I love her noodles! Thanks Grammy!

Orneryness and Sneakers

I am so ornery! I started climbing up on the stool and turning the light in the office on and off. Silly Goose!

Vivi is wearing my first pair of sneakers now. They were a gift from Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark for my first Christmas. I wish they still fit me but am so happy my sister gets to wear them now!
