Mommy and Daddy dedicated Vivi at church like they did for me when I was 11 months old. It was a very nice service and I even got to be on stage with them. This time, mommy and daddy had to write a prayer to Vivi to read out loud in front of the congregation. Mommy read it and cried a little. The prayer meant a lot to mommy because her childhood pastor read this at the end of every service each week. They thought it was appropriate because they wanted God to do this for Vivi and also for him to help them do these things for her as she grows up. They want the same things for me, of course! :)

As you go through your day, may Christ (and we) go with you.
May He (and we) go before you to show you the way.
May He (and we) go behind you to encourage you,
beside you to befriend you,
above you to watch over,
within you to give you peace.

So many of our family members shared the day with us and we so appreciate their love and support. Grammy Jo, Grandma Cindy, Pappaw Dan and Sue, Aunt Luann and Jackie, Aunt Susan, Uncle Matt and Austin, Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark were all in attendance.
