How is it so that our little Vivi is ONE already?? The past 12 months really flew by quickly...even faster for the second baby girl.....but oh how wonderful they have been. We are so very blessed!! Vivi has been such a terrific, laid back, content little person and a joy to be around. She is really starting to shine and learning new things every day. She is almost walking on her own and loves to push things around and walk around furniture. She takes a few steps on her own but then dives for whatever is in front of her. She has the cutest little smile where she wrinkles up her button nose, squints her little eyes and shows off her four little teeth. Precious!
She sleeps through the night...usually about 12 hours and is still taking two naps during the day...around 10AM and 2PM. She is a great eater...except for broccoli which she used to eat...she even LOVES peas! Since she is one she is allowed to try some new things the pediatricians steer you away from until hitting the 12 month mark because of food allergies. Since mama is very allergic to shellfish,we try to follow this rule! She tried strawberries, peanut butter and honey and loved them all! For breakfast she likes to eat half a mini bagel, or dry cheerios, and fresh fruit along with a sippy cup full of Vitamin D milk. For lunch, she drinks water and whatever we are eating. One of her favorites is hot dogs and mac-n-cheese, although she also really enjoys noodles, all meats...especially deli meats, cheese and sweets! She gets that one honest!
Her hair is starting to grow and is over her ears now. It is also starting to curl in the back. She wears mostly 18 month clothes and all of Audrey's little shoes. They are all basically brand new since they don't wear them long anyways.
Since her birthday fell on a Friday, Aunt Kari had that day off and so did Aunt Susan and Austin. So, the all stopped by that morning to sing Happy Birthday. Aunt Susan brought her some chocoloate mini cupcakes that were delish! See...
