Carmelfest was going on starting Friday, so we went with Grammy since she had the day off. We enjoyed some lovely pork tacos again this year and lemon shakeups. Vivi and I bounced around in an inflatable train/maze. Vivi had a hard time getting over the slide and then it was hard to get her out of it. The temps were super high and humid so we didn't last more than a couple hours in the heat.

We tried watching the fireworks from a hill near our house. But with the burn bans this year, they must've shot them off lower. We had to get in the car and drive to where we could see them. By the time we got to the perfect spot, the girls were both asleep! Nick and I enjoyed them. Ha! Maybe next year?
