A beautiful day for a picnic!

We have been blessed with some beautiful weather lately and we are trying to take advantage of it. Today was especially beautiful and since Daddy was home, we all played outside and had a picnic at the park for dinner. What a great day!

Vivi loves going on walks. She gets so relaxed and falls asleep a lot of times.

Daddy and I built castles in the sand. I shouted down a water drain in our neighborhood. I like to hear the echo of my own voice.

Daddy and I climbed the hill down from our house.
Mommy and I climbed the same hill.
We went to our favorite park for a picnic in the evening. It was so much fun but the wind was a little crazy! I had a "butter sang-wich", pretzels, strawberries and blueberries. All are my favorites!
Since we were at the park next to Kari and Mark's house, they came over to hang out with us for a little bit. They weren't hungry though.
Uncle Mark tried to keep the wind from blowing into Vivi's ears.
Daddy put me the swing backwards so I could see everyone.

I love spending the day with my family...especially when it is outside!

Last day of spring break...

Jackie was on Spring Break this week so she came over with Grandma Cindy on Friday to hang out with us while Aunt Luann went to work. We had a great day...ate lunch at McDonald's and I played on their indoor playground for the first time, went shopping and found an Easter dress for me, then had a cookout after Aunt Luann returned.

I always have so much fun playing with Grandma Cindy, Jackie and Luann. Look at my lincoln log "railroad tracks". Chugga, chugga, choo, choo! Aunt Luann did it again...Vivi is off in lala land.
Ok...naps over! Time to eat some rice cereal. Nom, Nom, Nom
Happy, happy baby! The next day we spent a lot of time outside because it was so nice out. Grandma Cindy was going to watch us so mommy and daddy could go to the last night of Bingo with Grammy to support Uncle Mark and Aunt Kari. Vivi cried A LOT for Grandma. Sorry Grandma! I was an angel, of course!! ha!
I even got to ride on the lawn mower with Grandma. She cleaned up all of our landscaping and made it look beautiful. She has such a green thumb!

Thanks Grandma!

Random Thursday Night

Mark and Kari came over and we went for a walk around the neighborhood. Afterwards, Vivi and I had our bath, bedtime stories, said our prayers and went to bed. Then, Vivi woke up and didn't want to go back to sleep. The adults were watching a movie called Little Fockers and she got to play with them a little longer.

I love riding on the "horsey's" shoulders! Peak-a-book Baby V
Daddy is so silly!
Vivi was super excited to stay up late and play with the grown ups!

Mommy was excited too!
Vivi tried to grab ahold of Wrigley but Wrigley was a little too quick for her.

Park and a Playdate

Here are some other legwarmers...black with hot pink skulls!

Piggy tails So, we went to the park again. It was nice but a little breezy so I needed my sweatshirt. One of my favorite things to do is climb the steps to the highest slide and then come back down. There are usually other kids behind me and I have to get around them. I am working on getting the nerve up to go down the slides each time but I am just not quite ready for some of them all of the time.

Almost back down to safer ground.
Mommy carried Vivi in the bjorn that she is getting too big for. :)
I sat in the bigger kid swings today! It just has a chain across the front instead of being completely enclosed. I did great!
Grammy stopped at the park on her way home from work! Check out the video at the bottom of this post! I made Grammy go down the tube slide three times!! It was so cool!
I showed Mommy and Vivi how to go down the slide.
Daddy was going to work late so we decided to go to Grammy's house and then to Austin's house to play. Do you like my hat?
Austin helped me ride on his tricycle.
He showed me how to pedal.
Vivi talked to Aunt Susan.
So happy!

Watch Grammy on the tube slide! Yippee!

Smile :)

We were getting ready to take a snapshot and Wrigley just had to jump in and smile too. She even stuck out her tongue.

Tube socks and pink zebras...

Mommy ordered some awesome new legwarmers for Vivi and I online and they just came to our house. She really got them for Vivi but they fit me just as well...so we are sharing them like all good sisters do. I am wearing the pink zebra ones and Vivi is wearing the ones that look like men's tube socks. Too funny! I like to measure and do the things I see daddy do.

Hmmmm...I think it is about 3 feet by 40 feet. Yah...that is right. Just a little longer than I thought it would be. Oh well! It is what it is.
Rock on! I love playing my "cup-tar" from Pappaw.
Vivi will be a back-up singer!
Look at those thighs!

Pretty Sunday Dresses

We got dressed up for church this morning and you just might recognize Vivi's dress....it was the one I wore in Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark's wedding a couple years ago. They will be celebrating their two year anniversary on April 18th. Happy Anniversary!! That is also Uncle Matt's birthday. Happy Birthday!

Doesn't Vivi look cute in it?

I wore my pretty purple dress!

Surprise Saturday morning visit

I woke up to Jackie coming into my room to get me this morning!!! Yay!! I love Jackie. Of course you already know that if you follow my blog. ;) She and Aunt Luann had a meeting near our house but were early, so they came by to visit for an hour. Jackie helped me eat my breakfast.

Aunt Luann played with my baby sis!

April Fools!

Today was April Fools Day! It wasn't a typical day because Aunt Kari stopped by around 1PM in the afternoon to hang out for a little bit...then she came back to watch Vivi and I for a couple hours so mommy could go out with Daddy to send off a fellow employee who was leaving his company. After mommy returned, Austin and Aunt Susan stopped by for a little bit. They were in the neighborhood so we played with them a little before hitting the "hay".
