Jackie's 15?!?!?!

Can you believe cousin Jackie turned 15??? We can't! We celebrated with her by meeting her, her boyfriend Drake, Aunt Luann, Grandma Cindy and Mike at Cracker Barrel for breakfast. We had a nice visit and Jackie opened up all of her gifts. Happy Birthday Jackie!!

Vivi's first visit to the dentist...and my 2nd!

We both did fabulous!! Vivi loved the spinning brush on her teeth and kept asking for more. I had a panoramic x-ray this time and didn't mind anything at all about this visit! Yay for us! Mommy was super proud.

Happy 60th Grammy

Grammy turned 60 and mommy, Aunt Susan, Aunt Kari and Great Aunt Carol threw her a surprise party. It was at the "chip place" down the street and Grammy didn't see it coming. Lots of people were there (just the adults...Grandma Cindy came to watch Vivi and I). It is not every day that you turn 60 so they wanted it to be special! Enjoy the photos!

We didn't make it to the Smith Family Farm pumpkin patch this year but we did walk down to the church to get pumpkins next to our house. It was still fun and they were just the right size to carve.

Happy Anniversary #8 PLUS 10

Today, mommy and daddy have been together for 18 years!! Happy Anniversary mommy and daddy! ;)

TWO BIG GIRLS!!!

Here is the final product! Our bunk beds are complete and all moved in. We are so excited to sleep in them. Vivi will have to wait until we get the bed rail up but that will only be a couple of nights. Audrey loves the top bunk and the ladder easily comes off and on so that it can be down during the day so our little climber (Vivi) doesn't get up on the top bunk and fall. So exciting!!!

Once we got the railing on for Vivi she transitioned from the crib like a pro! Such a relief since they have always been such good sleepers on their own. We weren't sure what to expect. Now, the nursery can be for the new baby in a few months! We are so proud of our girls!!

We went to the Children's Museum with our friend Connor, his mommy and baby brother Cooper. After our carousel ride and some fun in the playzone, I decided it was the right moment to give my friend a kiss! ha!! So hilarious!!

Helping Daddy

Ok, I have been sleeping with my mattress on the floor since mid-August so that daddy can start working on our new bunk beds. We have so much fun playing on the mattress and I like sleeping on it like this too. Daddy got a really good start on the bed and then it took just under a month to be complete. We didn't want to move it in until after the new carpet was in anyways. Here is some of the progress...

He cut apart my old canopy bed and modified it a bunch to make the bunk beds. He is amazingly talented and we are so blessed!

I got to help stain the underneath parts.

Enough work for one day....now, it is playtime!

New carpet

Ok, finally we are getting new carpet and getting rid of the dark, charcoal gray stuff we moved in with. Woohoo! Here are some pictures of the old stuff and then we get into progress of laying new and the new stuff!! We love it and would refer the people we bought it from to anyone around Indy. They were great and we definitely shopped around!
