Thanks Grammy!

Someone let Audrey and Vivi put on lipstick at her house which was hilarious because they looked like they had mustaches and beards. The next mornin at our house, Vivi decided to try the marker on!! 

I think she missed her lips again...what do you think?

7 week snuggles

Mommy went back to the lactation support group so she was able to weigh Blythe again. She now weighs 10 lb 6.5 oz!! Yay!

Pappaw stopped by for a visit and he had room for Vivi and Blythe in his arms!

Mommy just loves how babies sleep with their arms up....so sweet!

Vivi has been a real stinker at bed time lately. She gets out of bed about 20 times and comes out of her room. After being scolded and put back in bed, she still continues to do it. Mommy and daddy have tried everything. I got out with her for a while but I am over it. Now, she just does it forever by herself.

On this particular night, mommy and daddy thought she FINALLY gave up and went to sleep. But, when mommy came in her room for bed herself, she found little Miss Viv sound asleep with her babydoll all tucked into mommy's side of the bed. ha! Mommy carried her to her own bed and she actually stayed there.

Random picture - but one of our new favorite meals. Our neighbors brought us this dish after Blythe was born and now mommy makes it all the time. So easy and delicious...YUM!!

Jackie's a Cheerleader and so are WE!

We got to go see Jackie cheer at her last game of the season. She cheered for the Lapel boy's JV basketball team and did a great job. It was so fun to watch her and go on the floor to cheer with her during halftime. She showed us some of her special moves and let us use her pom poms!

We also really liked eating popcorn at the game with Grandma and Aunt Luann and then Pizza King afterward!! YUM! What a great Friday night!

Vivi's first haircut

Vivi's hair grew faster than mine (my first cut wasn't until 3 days before my 3rd birthday). She is just 2.5 and really needed a trim to even things out. She did great! Grandma Cindy was still at our house so she got to go with us! She said she had never been to any of her grandkids' first hair cuts before.

Blythe's first smiles...

Blythe started smiling and doing it on purpose back at us on Valentine's Day when Grandma Cindy was here. It is so fun to make her smile!! Love her so, so much. She is a perfect baby!

Daddy's Birthday and Valentine's Day

Blythe is 6 weeks old this week! She is getting so big. Daddy didn't get home until late on his birthday and we ordered him his favorite steak and cheese burrito for dinner from the "chip place" but had to eat our food without him. :( We still celebrated when he got home though.

Grandma Cindy came down on Valentine's Day and let mommy and daddy go out on a date to celebrate Daddy's birthday too. They went to a yummy steak place and then to another restaurant for dessert. They enjoyed their night out and we enjoyed our time with Grandma. Blythe would not take a bottle for grandma though. :( Little stinker. Guess we will have to keep working on that!

Daddy, Vivi and I went to Grandma Cindy's to cut down some trees over the weekend. This gave mommy and Blythe some extra bonding time. They snuggled by the fire during the IU game!

Mom's Night at School

Mommy and I got to have a special night all of our own. We went to my preschool for Mom's Night. We made a valentine's card box, exchanged valentine's with my friends, sang songs ("Oh won't you be my valentine, my valentine, my valentine..."), decorated cookies and other crafts. So much fun packed into one hour!
