My First Florida Vaca!

We recently traveled to Florida for a 5 night getaway with Uncle Matt, Aunt Susan and Cousin Austin. The weather was quite chilly for The Sunshine State this time of year, unfortunately for us. We still managed to enjoy a little sunshine and relax.
Here is me on my first plane ride! I slept before we got on and woke up right before take-off. Then, I was awake during the whole flight. However, as soon as we landed safely I was out again and slept until we claimed our baggage and were picking up our rental car!
Austin and I enjoyed the flight and we were really good. Aunt Susan brought along some fun things that she handed out throughout the duration of the flight. Mommy brought a bunch of snacks for us to munch on.
Here we are on the way to the resort. Don't you love my new shades Aunt Susan got for me?
Austin got a new Mickey Mouse hat from the store and he was really happy about it!
Here we are in our condo in the high chairs. Some of these didn't turn out with the best quality but they are still fun, so mommy added them.
Austin and I had so much fun playing together. Uncle Matt was trying to make the bed but we decided to play on the blankets so he couldn't. At the bottom of this post, there is a video of us playing on it! Check it out!
I love my Aunt Susan!
This is us walking up to one of the many pools our resort had. The resort was so beautiful!

Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Susan being silly playing in the sand!
This was Austin's favorite nook in the condo. He loved it! Every time he went into it, I was right behind him and trapped him in.
Nap time!
This was a nightly ritual...Austin put on my mommy's tennis shoes and walked around. He is also holding daddy's hat and wore that as well! He is goofy!
This is the only day we got in the pool. Driving from one pool in the resort to another, I decided to take a snooze. I missed my morning nap so I was exhausted!
....and slept! Daddy held me during my nap!
Austin hung out in his stroller for a little bit...shaded from the sun.
Uncle Matt caught up on some reading.
Aunt Susan relaxed.
Then, Aunt Susan and Austin sat next to the water and watched some people throw a ball back and forth. Austin was excited to see the ball.
That night we went to Downtown Disney, which is kind of like a shopping mall outdoors with lots of restaurants.
What's Up!

Here is the video of Austin and I playing in the bedding. We had so much fun together!

The Indianapolis Children's Museum

Grammy, Austin, Mommy and I all went to the Indianapolis Children's Museum for the first time. It is a very cool place with SOOOO much to do. I can't wait til next time to see the rest. Right now, they have two very fun exhibits that are only there temporarily. Barbie and Bob the Builder!!! Austin and I really enjoyed both, but probably enjoyed Bob the Builder a little more since there was so much more for kids our age to do.
The Barbies were beautiful and there were so many to see. They had life-sized ones, old ones, new ones, fancy ones, plain ones, etc. There was a station where you could dress them, a station where you could dress yourself and a Barbie runway complete with a pink carpet, lights, cameras and TVs! If I were a little bit bigger, I would've definitely been strutting my stuff!
Here are Barbie and The Rockers! Mommy and her sisters had these Barbies growing up along with the stage and accessories. TOTALLY 80s!!!
Bob the Builder had lots of fun stuff we could enjoy with tons of other kids our size. Austin got to drive a couple of funny looking contraptions...
Lookout ahead! Hey guys, I want to help!
Here we are riding on a carousel for the first time. Too bad you can't see the horses we are sitting on. This was fun though!
They had Mr. Potato Head!!
There were dollhouses with miniature towns and so many fun things to look at inside them. This one had a train!
Oh, this was Austin after we got back to my house. Aunt Kari loves to put her coats on him! Funny!

I've been up to a few things...

I have been up to a few things in the past few weeks. We've had lunch dates, play dates, firewood delivered by someone special, silly things on our heads, and so much more! Scroll down and read the photo captions to catch up with me!

Mommy and I ate lunch at Scotty's with her friend Emily Mitten and we just had a delightful time. Emily and Brian got me a Cookie Monster Farmer doll for a belated birthday present. He is so funny and says things like "Hello there Moo Moo Cow!", "Cowabunga" and "Mooooooo". I got to try fried pickles for the first time and just LOVED them. I can't wait to go back!

My mommy is very silly and she thought she would like to look as cool as me....SO she did her hair the same. I think I wear it much better though.
I found the face masks in the drawer so of course I had to get them out and put them on my head!
And of course, Mommy thought she did too!

My grandpa came for a visit and delivered some firewood so I put on his boots! Isn't that what every grand daugther does?
Grandpa brought Mikey with him too!
I had to watch Daddy and Grandpa unload wood from inside.
Grandpa and Daddy are doing a good job. Do you like Grandpa's new truck?

I had a play date with cousin Austin and his cousin Beau who was here form Portland, OR.
Here is Beau! He was a little shy at first.
Beau and Austin were playing.

We went to visit Great Grandma Susie and Wilbur. They just celebrated their 6 year wedding anniversary and are so happy! We went to their favorite place...Richards!
Wilbur tried to take a picture of all us ladies but my head is the only one that is whole. Ha!! ;)
We stayed a while and visited before driving back to Indy.

I still love to get into everything. This day, I decided to open up the paper towel and scatter it througout the kitchen!

Austin and I went to Steak-n-Shake for the first time, with Grammy, Mommy, Aunt Susan and Aunt Kari
I just love these hats! This was so fun! Do you like the ketchup and mustard all over my face?

Lately, I have really enjoyed putting hats on myself. This one is Daddy's and I wore it around for a long time.

I sat down in my rocking chair sideways! Hahahahahahaha!
The End....for now! ;)
