Happy New Year 2011

As you can see from the pictures, we did some very exciting stuff for New Year's Eve!! ha! We ordered pizza and lounged on the couch together. It was so fun!! We even took our own family photo!!
I played in my new tunnel.
Daddy almost fell asleep early.
Vivi did fall asleep early.
I was in bed way before the official new year too, but that's better than setting your alarm so you can see the ball fall like mommy!! She fell asleep about 15 minutes before midnight!! I think she is getting old...what do you think?

Vivi's 11 Weeks Old

For Vivi's 11 week old birthday, we decided to go over to Grammy's house to catch up on some laundry. Our washer which is not even a year old has some issues and we have had to wait 3 weeks for Lowe's to get the parts and proper repair people their to fix it. Mommy will never buy a major appliance from them again. The machine is still under warranty and there is no rush to replace the machine or fix it. Very frustrating when she is used to doing at least 2-3 loads a day.
Anyway, Grammy was at work but we just made ourselves at home for the afternoon. I played and got into her Christmas tree after mommy told me not to about a hundred times. I am so ornery and I thnk because I am two now I am allowed to be even more so....but, mommy doesn't always agree with that!!
Vivi slept for a while during our three hours of laundry time.
I am such a goofball!

Christmas 2010 at Grandma Cindy's

Since we were sick the day after Christmas we unfortunately missed Christmas with the Raber side of the family. We felt better the next day though, so we headed to Grandma Cindy's to celebrate with her and the Lieurance side. We certainly didn't want to get anyone else sick but our cousin's from Maine were going to be there and Vivi and I have never met them before. So, we just couldn't stay away any longer. Plus, we were really missing Grandma Cindy, Aunt Luann and Jackie this Christmas. :) Grandma Cindy got us all so many nice things. Thanks Grandma!!

We opened our gifts from Grandma, Jackie, Luann and Grant in the morning. Jackie had Vivi's name and Grant had my name. Jackie made Vivi a cake out of diapers and recorded the book 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' for her. What special gifts!! Grant got me a gift card to Baby Gap!! One of my favorite stores!!! Let's go shopping! Aunt Luann made a family picture calendar with the Raber and Lieurance birthdays. It is so cool!!!

Great Grandma Betty and our special cousins from Maine (Uncle Jerry, cousins Paul and Dena) came over for a late lunch and we celebrated with them the rest of the day.
A good picture of Jackie with Vivi
I still love opening presents!
Vivi likes to watch me open her presents....
Aunt Luann and Vivi
Cousin Paul and Vivi. Paul lives in Northern California now and attends Berkeley where he is finishing up his MBA. Vivi and I liked Paul!
Paul's sister Dena, is a natural with babies. She teaches pre-school in Rhode Island.
Great Uncle Jerry lives in North Carolina near the beach in Wilmington. It was so great to meet all of them, finally!
Great Grandma Betty
I think Uncle Jerry is ready for some grandkids of his own!! ;) Just sayin!
Mmmmm...where are the cookies???
Hi Grandma Cindy and Vivi. This is a good picture. Vivi was pretty fussy when we were at Grandma's but she is smiling here. I was fussy too. I think we were just out of sorts from being sick and out of our normal routine for a few days. Sorry Grandma!
Opening presents!
I think this is a good one. Vivi is getting so big!!!
Mommy is giving me a horsey ride and daddy is helping.
I played with Paul and Dena a little but wasn't sure about sitting still for long.
I helped Great Uncle Jerry play the piano! He was really good.
Vivi is bundled up and ready to head for home.

Merry Christmas everyone!! We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends. Thank you to everyone for your generous gifts and for spending your holidays with us too. Thanks also for all of the Christmas cards via mail. Hanging the cards/pictures up around our house makes us feel so special and loved.

...until next year!!

Christmas 2010 at Pappaw's

We had Christmas with Pappaw at his house for the first time since I have been here. The past two years we had it at Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark's house here in Fishers. It was nice to be at Pappaws though and celebrate with him this year on his turf! However, unfortunately not all of us got to come. Aunt Susan, Austin and my daddy all had the stomach flu. I had it earlier in the week. It was a pretty quick one that snuck up on you and only lasted about a day or so. That's the only good thing about it I guess. But, the bad thing was that it hit on Christmas day for those three and it hit Mommy and Uncle Matt the next day. Since mommy felt fine on Christmas day, she decided to go ahead and take Vivi and I to Grandpa's. So, we were a few people short but we still had a super time!
Uncle Mark kissing Vivi under the mistletoe...awwwww!
Me, being ornery of course. This is Pappaw's pinball machine that he has had since my mommy was little. It is a lot of fun but doesn't work completely right any more.
Mommy and Aunt Kari
I liked pretending to play on the "peter" (that is what I was calling it)
A great picture of Pappaw and Sue
Pappaw and my baby sis

I had fun opening presents at Pappaw's house too. I got some new games for our Wii, including Just Dance for Kids, two Dora games and one Diego game. Cool! I also got my first set of Lincoln Logs!! Mommy was really excited about this one. ;)
I took my new Diego DVD from Grammy so I chilled watching it on the couch before bed.
Opening presents
I like sitting on Pappaw's lap and as you can tell, Vivi likes sitting on Sue's
Hopefully next year Austin, Matt, Susan and Daddy will get to come too!

Christmas Morning 2010

Well, it is my third Christmas but the first one I really got into!! We were at home Christmas morning and got to check out the tree and see what Santa brought which was really fun. There were no presents under the tree when I went to bed, but when I woke up there were bunches! The cookies and milk were gone too. I think Santa must've enjoyed them. It was really special because we knew Grammy was going to come over and watch us open our presents and mommy made a special breakfast....baked blueberry french toast with cream cheese and blueberry sauce! Nummy! The cool thing was that Pappaw stopped by too. He ended up joining us for breakfast and also watched us open presents. What a special morning and we felt so blessed to have both Pappaw and Grammy there. Daddy woke up fine but didn't feel so well just after breakfast. He caught the stomach bug that I had earlier in the week. Not fun!!! Lots of throwing up. Mommy, Vivi and I felt fine so we still headed to Pappaw's that afternoon to celebrate with him. Daddy stayed home to feel better. We sure missed him though.
Mommy likes to take pictures of her waking me up on these special days. The only bad thing is that my room is so dark and the flash is so bright...so my eyes are always closed in the pictures! I couln't wait to get up and check out the tree!
WOW!!
Look at all the presents!! YIPPEE!
Grammy watched and helpe me open lots of presents!
Pappaw helped Vivi take a snooze!
He helped me open gifts too though!
I got a treasure chest filled with dress up clothes and jewelry. This was my favorite gift from Santa. I just love it! See my earrings.
Vivi was worn out from all of the excitement. Mickey, Pappaw's dog was excited too!
Grammy got me a Dora sleeping bag for Christmas so mommy and I tried it out!
Vivi was happy in her new hat!
I like to play with Daddy's flashlight in my princess dress.
Daddy really liked my princess jewelry too! Isn't he pretty?
Dad...that is not for your nose!
Nice!
