More playtime with Austin Charles

Today was the last day Austin got to spend with us this week. We had so much fun with you buddy. You were such a wonderful boy for my mama and we love you so much. Come back anytime! He just loves holding my baby sis.

It's nice enough...

It has been a super hot summer so when we venture outside, it pretty much has to be to play in the water or take a wagon ride in the morning before it is scorching. Today was actually very nice and not terribly hot. So, we took a wagon ride and I colored on the sidewalk with some chalk.

He's back and Vivi tries Cheerios!

Today is the second day Austin spent at our house. We had so much fun. Oh, Grammy was on vacation in Florida so we also watched Gracie...she is standing by the window. We had fun playing with her too. First, we made puppets! Austin made a cow and I made a lion. Vivi was taking her nap so she was dreaming of sheep!

Austin just loves playing with Daddy's tractors!!! These were his when he was a kid and he has tons of them!
We took a break and watched a movie! We both had IU on!

Vivi even tried Cheerios for the first time. She loved them and just can't get enough!

Austin's here and another summer concert!

Austin's daycare was on vacation this week so he got to spend a few days with us!! We had so much fun playing. Sometimes we are best friends and other times we need our space. We act like brother and sister!! :)

Uncle Matt, my mommy promises that she did not put Austin up to this. He got these out of my treasure chest all on his own!! He was pretty good at walking around in them too. ;)

Sicne it was Tuesday night, we had to go to the Fishers Summer Concert Series!! They only last a couple months during the summer and are so much fun. This was the second one we attended and the band was good, the company was great and the dancing was super!

Uncle Mark was there too. Aunt Kari was out of town for work again so she didn't get to join us. :( So glad Mark was there though!

Early Fireworks at Mark and Kari's

The Fishers Freedom Festival is always the weekend before the 4th of July so we get to see fireworks early each year. We have watched them in Kari and Mark's front yard the past three years. They have a great view and our huge trees would probably block the view at our house.

Vivi and I stayed up late since the fireworks don't start until it is dark outside...around 10PM!!! WoW! That is like going to bed at least 3 hours late for us by the time they are over. SPECIAL!
Aunt Kari had the bug spray ready in case we needed it.

Daddy and I enjoyed laying on the ground to see them. Uncle Mark enjoyed his chair.

Mommy showed Vivi the pretty fireworks that she was seeing for the very first time. I think she liked them!

Almost Crawling...

Miss Viv is so close to crawling. Instead, she rolls ALL OVER the place!!

Happy Birthday Pappaw!

We celerbated Pappaw's birthday at Mark and Kari's this year enjoying their new privacy fence in the back yard! Pappaw turned 62 this year and he doesn't look or act it at all! Not even close! Hope you had a great day Pappaw! Thanks for coming this way to share your special day with all of us.

Uncle Matt got Austin a new slip-n-slide so when they arrived we hooked it up to the hose right away. Check out my moon!

Uncle Mark's birthday is the day before Pappaw's so happy birthday to you also Mark!! He had a couple of birthday balloons and he was so sweet to let Austin and I write our names on them and let them go. We watched them float high, high above us deep into the sky!

Vivi tried a stick of celery and she loved chewing on it! Great idea Daddy!
