BBQ at Mark and Kari's

Uncle Mark and Aunt Kari invited us over for a cookout on a nice Thursday evening. So, Austin, Matt, Susan, Mommy, Daddy and I headed on over for some BBQ. We had chicken, broccoli/cauliflour, cheese and margaritas...well some of us had those. Daddy put Austin and I in the tree.
He also put us in the flower pot!

My daddy is silly!

Hilary's Baby Shower: Feather Her Nest

Mommy hosted her friend Hilary's baby shower at our house. Hilary is due with Baby Heffernan on July 22nd (3 months exactly ahead of mommy). The shower was planned by Emily and Megan and they did a super fantastic job with everything. It was thoughtful and beautiful with a theme of "Feather Her Nest". There were about 16 adults and four kids at the shower so we had a house full.
Before the shower, once everything was ready Emily and Megan took some time out to read a book to me!
Megan got these cute cupcakes that had birds in a nests! There were chocolate chip, strawberry spice and angel food cake flavors.
Emily did a great job with the bouquets.
Lots of presents for Baby H.!
Everyone brought there favorite book to 'feather her nest'!
We had homemade chicken salad croissants, fruit kabobs, cupcakes, brownies, veggies and dip and a cheese tray! YUM!
Lemonade and Lemon Water......and wine for those of us who could have that!
Austin was here at the shower too and he loved playing with my new power 4-wheeler that daddy got for me!
Looking at some pictures of Megan's recent trip to Germany to see her husband Chance. And, Emily Mitten's pictures from Ireland and Amsterdam.
Emily Mitten, Garrett and Natalie. Garrett is getting so big just like me!
See, we did have a house full!
This was the play corner. It is hard to see but Max, Austin and I are playing with lots of my toys.
It was a rainy day.
Here are all the Girls Night Girls! Together at last!!

Exciting News!!

Guess what!!!! I am going to be a big sister!! Mommy is pregnant and due with baby #2 on October 22nd. We are all so excited! I will be 23 months older than my new sibling. We are not going to find out if it is a little sister or little brother until birth day....like mommy and daddy waited to find out with me. Either way, it will be great!

Oh, and I almost forgot, I am going to get a brand new bedroom too. Baby Lieurance will take my current room...the nursery...since it is already gender neutral and will be ready to go. So, I will get a big girl room with lots of "girlie" stuff!! Yippee!! Being a big sister is going to be fantastic! (Oh, and if you see the scratches on my nose in the picture above, that is from nose-diving on the sidewalk a couple days ago...ouch!)

Playtime with Daddy

Daddy and I like to play with the basketball outside.
I am so big and can pick up the ball and carry it all by myself!

Uncle Matt's Birthday

Sunday was Uncle Matt's birthday so we celebrated with him at his favorite dining spot...Don Pablo's! His mom, Grandma Joy was there, as well as Austin, Aunt Susan, Pappaw Dan, Mommy, Daddy and I.

Wait a minute...who put this one in there! I stole something of Mommy's from the laundry room. hahahahahaha! I think it will be a long time before I need one of these, but I loved having mommy chase me for it!

Special Visits During the Week

Mommy and I made a quick trip back to Wells county during the week to say hi to a few special people/ places. Unfortunately, our camera battery was dead for the first part of the trip so Mommy didn't get to take pictures of everyone we saw.
First, we went to Bummies in Bluffton for some spanish dogs! Then, we stopped at Grandma Cindy's to say hi to Grandma and Mike (and to pick up the camera charger we left there when Jan was home in March). We helped them put the paddleboat in the pond for the season and Grandma even picked a pretty tulip for me. I demolished it pretty quickly though. :( Her flowers were jut gorgeous. She also showed us the asparagus growing in her garden and I had some strawberries for a snack.

Next, we drove to Warren to see Great Grandma Betty in the nursing home's healthcare wing. She had a bad pinched nerve in her back a few weeks ago and couldn't do anything on her own. She is now in the assisted living section and will get to go home next week! She looked good and was happy to see us. Her 89th birthday is this Friday!!
Our next stop was Grandpa Dan's house. We had planned to eat at Mommy's favorite mexican joint for dinner (Bandido's), but our plans changed when Grandpa's Dog, Mickey went missing. Thank goodness he showed up a couple days later at a good samaritan's house. He is back home safe and sound!
Wednesday morning, we went over to Great Grandma Oswalt's house for lunch. She made us corn from the garden, mashed potatoes, green beans, noodles, fried chicken and cupcakes for dessert. It was great to see her. Mommy was able to charge the camera overnight at Grandpa's house so here are some pictures of us at Grandma O's.
I really liked my cupcake!
Great Grandma Oswalt

Next time, we hope to see Great Grandma Cookie and Don as well as Great Grandma Susie and Wilbur! Sorry we missed you all this time around! We love you!

Grandma Cindy's Visit

Grandma Cindy came to visit us over the weekend! We love when she comes to visit but not because she always cleans up our landscaping! ;) She loves to work outside and make everything look pretty. We really appreciate it but most of all, we just like spending time with her.
I even thought I could help by mowing the lawn.....well, I didn't actually get to mow. BUT - climbing on anything and everything is my favorite thing to do right now. So, of course I love to climb up on the mower, sit in the seat and try to turn the key. Don't worry...Mommy and Daddy are always right there to make sure I don't fall or actually turn it on!
I love the SPRING!
And, I love helping my Grandma!!
...AND MY DAD!

Grammy Jo even came over to visit. What a great weekend!!

Zoo Day

We spent the beautiful day at the zoo today and it was SOOOOO much fun! We couldn't have asked for a better day weather-wise to see the animals and exhibits. The car thermometer said it was 86 on our way home. EIGHTY SIX at the beginning of April!!! Yippee!!
Jackie spent a couple days with us during her Spring Break, so it was Mommy, Jackie and I at the zoo.
Penguins are COOL!
LOOK AT THAT POLAR BEAR! He was playing with the big barrell like it was his chew toy.
We even saw farm animals! This white goat reminded mommy of her goat she had growing up. His name was Speedy because he was born on the Indy 500 Race Day that year. Daddy had a goat when he was growing up too...his name was Billy....very creative Dad!! ;)
The Rhinos are SOOOO big!
I was excited a lot!
Jackie took a ride on a roller coaster and we got to watch her since we couldn't go too.
So, when she finished her ride she pretended to ride again with me in the sitting car.
Then, we played on the playground. I love playgrounds even if there are much bigger kids running around and who are not worrying about knocking me down.
Jackie took me down the enclosed tube slide....AND I LOVED IT!!!
Here I am in the dolphin exhibit. I am looking in at the tank. Do you see a dolphin? We watched a dolphin show too and it was really cool to see how smart they are.
I even had fun playing in the coat racks. Thankfully, it was so beautiful outside that there are no coats!
If this doesn't show you how much fun I had, then I don't know what will!
I was E-X-H-A-U-S-T-E-D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
