We were in town and spent the day at Pappaw's while mommy and daddy helped sort out Grandma Betty's house. Lucky for us, the Wells County 4-H Fair opened that night and we got to check it out. This was Vivi's first 4-H affair and she couldn't have been more ecstatic!! ;) She looked at the cows and grinned. I think she knows that Daddy used to spend A LOT of time here in these barns with his own cows...with his papa Grandpa Larry.
Daddy and I walked through the barn reminscing about how he used to show cattle and how he grew up so close to them.
Daddy even checked to see if the plaque was still there for the wash area that was dedicated to the fairgrounds after Grandpa Larry passed away when he was young. :(
