I have always enjoyed running around the house as a naked J-bird after my baths, but this was a new one! I grabbed a book and sat on the dining room floor next to the wall and started flipping pages! "Mommy, you want read too?"

Playing in the snow with Daddy
Daddy is bundling me up really well so that I don't get cold outside. This is the first time I have gotten to wear my new snow pants and coat. Yippee!! Good job Daddy!

Vivi's first trip to Great Grandma Susie and Wilbur's
Grammy had the day off work and invited us to join her on a trip to visit with Great Grandma Susie and Wilbur. We had a great time and I was soooo good! First, we talked for about an hour at Great Grandma's house and then we ate at Richard's, where they eat every day and where mommy worked in high school. I had macaroni and cheese. Mommy and Grammy had fish. I was super good at lunch which made mommy soooo happy! Vivi was great too. She pretty much slept the whole time we were there. Then, we went back to Great Grandma's to visit some more. I was pretty good there, too. I found random things to entertain myself with....like a cane, and an old fashioned telephone that plugs into the wall, and hide and seek with mommy, among other things. It was such a great day and I can't wait to see them again soon!
Doesn't Great Grandma Susie look great? Vivi wore her Cubs bib just for her. Grandma has always been a huge fan and rarely misses a game!

Staying in...
It has been so yucky outside and cold so we are staying in as much as possible. Some things we do to pass the time are play games, hide and seek, watch movies/cartoons, color, play in my room., etc. A new favorite is to get in my bed and sit against the headboard. Then, I pretend we are in a car and say "Seatbelts Mommy! So we can be safe!" ...something I heard on Dora! ;)
I take everything very seriously. Especially, when I am concentrating to build something or playing a game.

Mommy's 31st Birthday
Vivi's Dedication
Mommy and Daddy dedicated Vivi at church like they did for me when I was 11 months old. It was a very nice service and I even got to be on stage with them. This time, mommy and daddy had to write a prayer to Vivi to read out loud in front of the congregation. Mommy read it and cried a little. The prayer meant a lot to mommy because her childhood pastor read this at the end of every service each week. They thought it was appropriate because they wanted God to do this for Vivi and also for him to help them do these things for her as she grows up. They want the same things for me, of course! :)
Vivian Kay -
As you go through your day, may Christ (and we) go with you.
May He (and we) go before you to show you the way.
May He (and we) go behind you to encourage you,
beside you to befriend you,
above you to watch over,
within you to give you peace.
Amen So many of our family members shared the day with us and we so appreciate their love and support. Grammy Jo, Grandma Cindy, Pappaw Dan and Sue, Aunt Luann and Jackie, Aunt Susan, Uncle Matt and Austin, Aunt Kari and Uncle Mark were all in attendance.

Vivi's 13 Weeks/ 3 months old!
Napping again! Hard to believe that Baby Vivi is 3 months old already. She laughed for the first time and it was at Grammy when she was on the changing table...one of her favorite places. She is so laid back and such a sweet baby girl. She still has lots of hair, compared to big sis at this point. She nurses about every 3-4 hours and is growing so quickly. She is getting rolls on her legs which is so darn cute! She is wearing lots Audrey's clothes but has quite a few of her own. She is in 3-6 month size and doesn't mind getting dressed. Audrey wasn't a fan! She really knows mommy, daddy and her big sister and smiles A WHOLE LOT! Lovin' every minute! She doesn't have a scheduled well-check appointment at 3 months so hopefully, we don't have to take her in for any reason before her 4 month visit. That is scheduled for February 22nd.

Fudgy Cake from Grandma
Grandma Cindy made us all a jar full of ingredients with a recipe for Fudgy Snack Cake for Christmas. Mommy and I only had to add a couple of ingredients that you can't stick in the jar. We had fun making it and eating it!! It had peanut butter chips, chocolate chips and chopped walnuts on top! Nummy! (We should've taken a picture of the ingredients in the jar because it was so pretty!)

Aunt Kari, Uncle Mark and Grammy came over to watch what became the last Colts game of the year since they lost in this playoff game. We had snacks and a lot of fun cheering them on. Kari and Mark really get into it!!

My First Structured Activity
Since it is so cold outside and we pretty much never leave the house, mommy thought it might be good and fun for me to start a structured activity. So, after our friend Stephanie told us about Kaylee's gymnastics class we thought this was just the ticket. We signed up for a 6-week course in the 2-3 year old class. It is on Thursday mornings so we go with other stay-at-home mom's and their kiddos. Fun!
Well, I was so excited the first week that I didn't want to listen to anyone or wait my turn or do anything in the right order. I saw the trampoline and wanted to jump on it, I saw the slide and wanted to go down it, I saw the mats and wanted to run in circles on them, etc., etc. You get the picture!! The second week, I did so much better but still have tons of room for improvement. I hope I learn how to listen and follow directions very soon. ;)
Vivi Kay is 12 weeks today!
It has been 12 weeks since we met my beautiful baby sister!! She is so much fun! She loves to stare at me and watches my every move.
